Dr Vithal D. Bagi has completed his Graduation MBBS degree from the Mysore Medical College (1998-2003), Mysore.

He did his Internal medicine (MD Medicine) post graduate degree from the Vijayanagar institute of Medical sciences Bellari in the year 2005-2008.

He has done his superspeciality Cardiology (DM Cardiology) degree from SriJayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Bengaluru from 2010 to 2013. He did his secondary DNB cardiology from Jipmer Pondicherry in 2014.

• He was a meritorious student from schooling to post graduation to superspeciality.
• He had passed all the courses in first attempt in first class.
• He was topper for the college during MD medicine from Bellari.
• He had tremendous clinical, technical ,procedural exposure and experience in medical sciences and cardiology in all the three government colleges during undergraduation, post graduation and superspeciality courses.
• He worked as emergency and critical care physician in BCMC centre Mala, Kerala ( post MD) in 2008.
• He worked as assistant professor of medicine in SNMC Bagalkot in year 2009.
• He thought many medical students from post-graduation days to now.

He is working as consultant cardiologist in Apollo hospitals bannerughatta road and Apollo hospitals Jayanagar from 2013 to present.

He also visit to his birth place Mahalingpur a small town in Bagalkot district fourth nightly for cardiac interventions. Mahalingpur is the first small town in India to have cardiac cathlab.

He has presented and participated in many conferences at national level. He has publications in Indian heart journal and British Medical journals.

He is member of Association of physicians of India (API), Cardiovascular Society of India (CSI).
